Mass Effect 2 Aegis Pack Released - briefly|
| (hx) 02:43 AM CEST - Jul,07 2010 | BioWare just announced via Twitter that the Aegis Pack for Mass Effect 2 is now available on PC and Xbox 360. The Aegis Pack adds the M-29 Incisor sniper rifle and the Kestrel armor to Shepard's armor locker! The Incisor is a burst-fire rifle that excels at decimating enemy shields from a distance, while the Kestrel armor comes in 5 pieces and adds a variety of weapon, shield, and utility bonuses.
The Aegis Pack is out now for Mass Effect 2! What’s better than the latest in high-tech armor? High-tech armor and a sniper rifle of course!
Once downloaded, it will land in Shepard’s armor locker, and will run you 160 MSP/$2.00 on Xbox 360 and 160 BioWare Points/$2.00 on PC. |

Do they really think people are going to play 4 times trough the game because they added new riffle, or gun, or map or whatever? I played it twice, sold it. That's it. I played twice just because of paragon/renegade. |

I can barely tell the difference between most weapons and armour types in the game anyway, so to pay for some add-on like this is absurd. Maybe if it was some new missions or a planet I would be interested... |

People play at different paces. Admittedly the first run through I didn't explore or anything and just did the bare minimum. Second time around was forever. Third don't recall but meh.
The armor and weapons were alright. Terminus stuff was ok looking and the blackhole gun thing was a fun weapon but not as helpful asit could have been. I felt that the armor choices were the weakest part of the game. It just seemed to be bland and short. |

It's not like you're being gouged like in MW2 with the their latest map pack, all of which should have all been included in the first map pack. Turned me off so much I'm just waiting now for the next game and hope they get it right next time around. |

Agreed. I can't think of anything besides the lack of armor choices in ME2 really. Every time I tried to keep that sin alive was a pain. |
