Need for Speed World Beta Announced - briefly|
| (hx) 12:05 AM CEST - May,15 2010 | | Electronic Arts have announced the next beta appearance of Need for Speed World. It will start this Friday, May 14th at 9am (PDT) and will continue throughout the weekend ending Sunday, May 16th at 11:59pm (PDT). All previous beta testers are invited to participate with an additional 20,000 testers needed. The beta will feature the new Need For Speed World Client with new power-ups, new cars, improved police encounters, visual updates to the world, performance / stability optimization and the ability to use in-game currency called 'SpeedBoost'. The goal of this 3rd beta is to test the functionality within the game and on the servers. At certain points during the beta participants will be asked to engage in races or police pursuits. |
