  • Natural Selection 2 Trailer - Developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment has revealed a very interesting technique that one of the alien creatures uses to get from point A to point B in the upcoming multiplayer first person shooter. A playable in-game, engine-based alpha test will be made available to all pre-order customers next Friday
  • The Witcher 2 Video Diary + trailer - A first video Developer Diary for The Witcher 2 is now available. In addition, there is also a new trailer showing a cutscene from The Witcher 2, which is created entirely using the game engine.
  • Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter Demo - Croteam has just announced that a demo for Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is now available through steam. The demo features a specially deisgned level set in the Karnak stage which Croteam says could take gamers hours to get through. Additionally, there is a co-op mode set in the same level with support for up to 16 players. Another high-def revamp is on the way in the form Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, planned for release early this year on PC and consoles.
  • Mount & Blade Warband Patch v1.012 - A new patch is now available for Mount & Blade Warband, updating Taleworlds' recently released action/RPG sequel to version 1.012.
  • Red Faction: Guerilla Patch Soon - Microsoft has approved the second patch for the PC edition of Red Faction: Guerilla. The patch should be available soon.
  • Splinter Cell: Conviction PC delay not related to DRM - Not too long ago we let you know that the PC version of Splinter Cell: Conviction was getting delayed until April 27th. This led many gamers to ponder whether the delay was regarding Ubisoft’s DRM software. Well, according to Ubisoft, no the delay has not at all been related to DRM: "The reason that has been given for the delay is that the extra time was need to polish and debug the game. The slip has not been linked to the DRM."
  • Ubisoft DRM Troubles Hit The Settlers 7 - GamePolitics reports that gamers, specifically in Australia, are experiencing issues with The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom, which utilizes Ubisoft's controversial DRM scheme. The DRM requires a persistent Internet connection, even for singleplaye

  • Sega Closing Iron Man Studio - Sega could be closing Sega Studios San Francisco, previously known as Secret Level, most recently responsible for Iron Man and the upcoming Iron Man 2 video games. The closure shouldn't affect the release of Iron Man 2, which was reportedly completed, and should ship on May 4, 2010 along with the theatrical release of the new film. We'll bring you more details on this closure when we receive them.
