Duke Nukem 'D-Day' Teaser Image - media
(hx) 05:56 PM CET - Nov,30 2009
Duke Nukem's official Facebook page has been updated with a screenshot for something called 'D-Day,' with the action hero himself teasing that he 'doesn't stay down for long.' The stadium and enemy might seem familiar from the Duke Nukem Forever footage leaked in May, though those were callbacks to Duke's earlier adventures. It remains to be seen exactly what D-Day is, whether it be a a new game, the build-up to an announcement or revelation, or something else entirely.

If it's not from 3D Realms, I personally couldn't give a shit. I support 3D Realms and I hope the rest of the PC community does as well. Don't give money to intellectual thieves.

Erm... do 3D Realms still make games though? Seriously, the last thing they actually made themselves was in 1997, thats 12 years ago!

I loved Prey, but that was knocking about for ages until Human Head took over and belted it out in a few months.

I'm sure 3DR are a great development team but you can only toss about with your sketchbook for so long before you have to knuckle down and go to work.

So don't hold ya breath!

It's renamed...

This news comes to us as Take-Two attempts to get back some loans they gave to Apogee for the development of Duke Nukem Forever. Unfortunately, Apogee says that 2K Games put a stop to Duke Begins development in what Joystiq says is an attempt to gain the rights to the Duke Nukem franchise.

You figure it out. Don't support it.
