Call of Duty: World at War v1.7 Patch - patch|
| (hx) 11:42 PM CET - Nov,24 2009 | Activision has released a new patch for Call of Duty: World at War, bringing this first person shooter sequel developed by Treyarch Invention to version 1.7. The game must first be updated to v1.6 before applying this patch. The patch works on all regions except Germany, which has its own dedicated version. A new version of the Linux dedicated server is also available for hosting multiplayer games.
-Fixed an MP server crash exploit.
-Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.
-Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.
-Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0.
Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
Additionally, the Linux 1.7 dedicated server will include:
- Fixes impure server warnings for custom maps.
- Fixes HTTP redirect for custom maps.
