Sanitarium is a point-and-click adventure game, released in 1998. It tells the story of man trapped in a nightmare - locked in an old insane asylum, his face covered in bandages, surrounded by raving, self-mutilating madmen. Worst of all, he has no recollection of his past, or why he ended up in this grim, deteriorating sanitarium. He must use his wits and determination to journey through bizarre, diverse locations, in order to rediscover his identity and uncover the truth of what is really going on around him...
