DiRT 2 PC delayed to December - briefly|
| (hx) 11:41 PM CEST - Jul,06 2009 |
Codemasters just announced that the PC version of Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will support the features that will be available in DirectX 11, and is scheduled for release in December 2009. According to the press release, this move will allow the PC port to support the new graphical features of DirectX11 such as 'hardware tessellation, multi-threading and Shader Model 5.0.' AMD will be supporting Codemasters by providing their input on 'software engineering expertise in DirectX 11 technologies such as tessellation and shader modelling.' |

I was really beginning to wonder what was happening there. It has been a while since the GTX series from Nvidia and accompanying ATI challenger were first released. No doubt we would have had the next batch sooner if not for the GFC. | |
