More screenshots from Battlefield 1943. Quit teasing me and release the darn thing! :-) According to recent comment from developer DICE, the downloadable Battlefield 1943 probably won't make it out on PS3 and Xbox 360 for another week or two. Three remade maps are planned for the 24-player multiplayer game: Wake Island, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima. A fourth map, Coral Sea, will eventually be available following community challenges. The PC version of the $15 game will be released sometime in September. In related news, GameTrailers has released new gameplay footage from the PlayStationNetwork beta version of Battlefield 1943.
