The Sims 3 Leaked - briefly|
| (hx) 05:53 PM CEST - May,18 2009 | There are some reports floating about this morning claiming that The Sims 3 has been leaked. The long-awaited PC game's official launch date is June 2nd.
For the moment we can't tell for sure if the game is real as the packed/unpacked leaks are sized somewhere near 5GB. The small size of the game makes us think that this is not the actual game, but maybe it's an unfinished version of The Sims 3 life simulation game...
well, if an entire game is leaked early, I think it's less of a DRM problem, and more a an EA security problem... |

Less DRM at this point only helps legitimate purchases of software that have gotten sick of being screwed around over the last few years, people that pirate have never had anything to be concerned about with DRM. |

As we saw with Spore, it had DRM and yet was still pirated. So how come they add that crap to games if they still get pirated and people still play them? I don't see the point or understand it if there is one. |

I use nocd's and stuff so I've never really suffered. The only game that gave me pain was Farcry 2. I had to wait like almost a week for one my key to allow me to play the game again. Too many installs and an upgrade put me through hell with Ubisoft. I'll remember that in the future. |
