- NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 Mainstream GPU -
The GeForce GTS
250 is very similar to the GeForce 9800 GTX+, and as such, the two cards
perform almost identically when the new GTS 250's larger 1GB frame buffer
doesn't come into play. At higher-resolutions, when additional pixel
processing is employed (like in FarCry 2, for example), the GeForce GTS
250's larger frame buffer allows it to measurably outperform the older
GeForce 9800 GTX+. In comparison to the Radeon HD 4850, generally speaking,
both cards perform at nearly the same level, with a slight edge going to the
GeForce GTS 250.
- NVIDIA Developing x86 CPU? -
According to Michael Hara, NVIDIA's senior vice president of investor
relations and communications, the company is considering making a x86
processor in the next two or three years.

Just-leaked
build of Windows 7 lets users remove Internet Explorer. The move might
have been prompted by recent charges by the European Union that Microsoft
has stifled browser competition by bundling IE with its operating system,
the bloggers speculate.
- Firefox 3.0.7 - Security Update - For all you alternative browser
types out there, Mozilla has released a new version of
Firefox v3.0.7.
The latest updated fixes eight vulnerabilities, six of which are considered
critical.

General Motors is teetering on the brink of financial chaos.
GM says that its cash on hand is being depleted to levels where it will
no longer be able to operate unless it gets $2B USD in additional loans at
the end of March. Heh! How long is the US going to stand up to this
garbage? It is obvious that no matter how long we the people bail them out,
they will not survive. They will just come back and point the bankruptcy gun
at our collective heads and threaten to pull the trigger again. It is quite
obvious that any 'loans' we the people give them will become write-offs as
GM will never be able to pay them back!

- Michael Mann's Public Enemies Trailer - Universal has just
debuted the
trailer for Michael Mann's highly anticipated Public Enemies starring

robber John Dillinger and Bale as his FBI pursuer Melvin Purvis. Hoover.
Universal is bringing Public Enemies to theaters everywhere on July 1st this
summer.

- Final Epic X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer - The first thing
I'll say is that
this looks so much better than before because it finally looks polished
and the effects look really good. Secondly, both Gambit and Deadpool look
badass and I can't wait to see them in action. But does this look like it'll
be one of the best summer movies or not? Fox will debut X-Men Origins:
Wolverine in theaters everywhere on May 1st.
