I'm afraid there is a simple answer to the MacBook Air hinge, that is to NEVER buy an Apple product again!? Like it's soooo simple. Also, why buy as soon as released? Wait until folks 'beta' test it and then read feed back. It's the same old scenario with software (games etc) nothing new. Besides what do folks do to break a laptop hinge? I've had my Dell for nearly a year and can't for the life of me think i could break the hinge accidently. Bizarre
