Resident Evil 5 Lasts About 8 Hours - console|
| (hx) 11:36 PM CET - Feb,23 2009 | Some chaps over at
CVG's Xbox World Blog have played all the way though Resident Evil 5, and it
took them about seven and a half hours of play time, plus 80 mins of cutscenes.
Does this make you happy, or sad? Resident Evil 4 was about twice as long...
It seems our seven and a half hour completion time has upset many people, prompting some to step forward and label it false. Proof to the contrary, along with out latest podcast featuring plenty of Resident Evil 5 discussion, can be found inside... As previously stated our first completion time, minus cut-scenes, was seven hours, thirty-six minutes and one second. For reference purposes, the total length of all the game's cut-scenes clocks in at 80 minutes. The time shown in these screens is slightly quicker because we've since replayed one chapter to retake a couple of corrupted screenshots, although our original time's proof is printed in issue 76, onsale now.

I played the over hyped, mediocre Left4Dead, I'm kind of out of the mood for these kinds of games so I'll keep watching for sales or I'll buy it in the used section whenever that time comes.
COD5 right now is an utter blast on PS3, so much better than PC without the aimbots and wallhacks. | |
