The Sims 3 delayed until June 2 - briefly

Today Electronic Arts announced that the long awaited people sim game, originally scheduled for release on Feb. 20, has now had its release date pushed back until June 2. No specifc reason for the delay was announced. However, EA did confirm that the game would be released for the Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch and mobile devices alongside the PC. The short trailer gives the audience a glimpse at the many scenarios in the Sims including marriage, first dates, parties, shared with strangers online:
