Dawn of War II goes gold - gold

THQ sent out a press release announcing that the long awaited Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II has now reached 'gold master' status, meaning the sci-fi RTS game from developer Relic has been completed and is now being sent to disk duplication. The game itself will ship to stores Feb. 19 which is actually a few days earlier than a previously announced date of Feb. 23. However, as I have reported previously, a multiplayer beta for the game will be released via Valve's Steam service beforehand. The beta begins this Wednesday, Jan. 21, for people who own Warhammer 40K Dawn of War Soulstorm. Everyone else can access the beta on Jan. 28.
