- NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 On March 11th? -
NVIDIA will roll
out a dual-GPU GeForce 9800 GX2 on March 11th and the GeForce 9800 GTX
by the beginning of April
- NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT RoundUp -
It's an
excellent product. But let's not put the cart before the horse.
- 19inch LCD Monitors Roundup - There is no definite leader in this
review. Of course,
the PVA-based SyncMaster 940T from Samsung features broader viewing
angles than the other models. Now that it has got Response Time Compensation
technology, it is competitive even in those applications that require a good
response. Unfortunately, it is more expensive than the other monitors
included into this review .
- Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 review -
The performance
differences are solid if not spectacular, but security and compatibility
improvements combine with speed upgrades to make installing SP1 a
no-brainer.
- TCP/IP has changed in Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008 -
To comply with Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) recommendations,
Microsoft
has increased the dynamic client port range for outgoing connections in
Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008. The new default start port is
49152, and the default end port is 65535. This is a change from the
configuration of earlier versions of Microsoft Windows that used a default
port range of 1025 through 5000
- Microsoft to crack down on Vista cracks - The just-announced
update, which will go out through
Windows Update
(WU) and install automatically on most Vista machines, will detect two
cracks (Grace Timer and OEM BIOS) commonly used to activate pirated
copies of the operating system
- Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 Technical Beta Program Soon -
IE8 Beta 1 is focused on the developer community, with the goal of
gaining valuable feedback to improve Internet Explorer 8 during the
development process.
- ClamAV/SOSDG For Windows v0.92.1-2 (free, open source AV) - I
have not tried it but anything
this "free" has to be at
least considered.
- Vista Codec Package 4.5.9 Final -
With this package installed you will be able to use any media player,
limited only by the players' capabilities, to play DVD's, movies and video
clips of almost any filetype. Streaming video is supported in all popular
web browsers.

Company officials want to make
the first

modified version of MDI's CityCAT (pictured above) that, thanks to an even
more radical engine, is said to travel as far as 1000 miles at up to 96 mph
with each tiny fill-up.

world - has crashed at an air base on the Pacific island of Guam.

block access to YouTube has been
blamed for an almost global blackout of the video website for more than
an hour on Sunday.

the power, and the size of that thing!

The Force is
strong with this one :-D

The story
centers on a compulsive organizer (Reynolds) who decides to live his
life without planning and in the process discovers love with Mortimer's
character. Townsend completes the love triangle playing Buddy, the best
friend of Reynolds' character who also falls in love with Mortimer's
character
- Monty Python and Barack Obama view (pic) -
So appropriate for this election. Hillary talks out of her ass and can't
wield her sword. Obama is skillful in his trade. And Hillary doesn't know
when she's been defeated...In related news,
here's an impressively detailed timeline called "The Nexus of Politics
and Terror," chronicling the Bush admin's exploitation of terror threats for
political gain. The clip is 17 minutes long and entirely worth it.
- Patience Pays Off! (pic) - Some
political cartoons are so awesome.
- Zero-G Defy Xtreme Stealth Watch - $500,000 (pocket change) - The
Zero-G Defy Xtreme Stealth by elite watchmaker Zenith is one of the most
lust-worthy timepieces we've seen in recent history. Modeled after the
famous Stealth Bomber, this blackened titanium watch (utilizing a PVD
coating process) is specially crafted to keep time without extreme gravity
throwing off your appointments.
Cool looking watch but $500,000 thousand?
- Spot the 'invisible' men and women in artist's amazing photographs

Miss Palmen, a 44-year-old Dutch artist, uses a method that requires a
huge amount of effort and attention to detail.
