released The Lord of the Rings
Online: Shadows of Angmar has become the first massively multiplayer online
role-playing game to support DirectX 10 graphics via NVIDIA GeForce graphics
processors. Word is: "The Lord of the Rings Online's graphics, including
upgraded shaders for water, particle effects and lighting for distant terrain.
Players will also be treated to new levels of immersion with the new DirectX 10
exclusive dynamic shadowing features which render realistic real-time shadows in
the vast outdoor environments of The Lord of the Rings Online." |

God, PC gaming has become such an anti-climax lately..... :cry: What a bunch of $hit titles that haven't lived up to their expected praise.
SH4,World in Conflict,Bioshock,ArmA et al and the absolute best one with sales that couldn't equal a days takings at a GAMECUBE store; Crysis!

The PC is a laughing stock, inc the fact we are coerced into upgrading for DX10 garbage games.......someone is taking the pi$$ at out expense.
Last good game i played was Oblivion; modded of course. At LEAST it WAS a game that actualy played and was patched pronto!
With the above crap titles we have to beg with 'cap in hand' for them to FIX THEM!!! Otherwise they stay broke. Even then we're still waiting for patches long after they are removed from our machines.
What the hell is wrong with dev's these days? No pride left and no care for the gamer.....bah humbug, post christmas gaming blues :lol:
We need gaming back and no bull$hit PR or fancy DX10 graphics which mean jack $hit to gameplay! |
