STALKER could have been a great game, it just fell short by <insert distance> I just don't see this prequel actually improving on the areas that STALKER fell short on.. graphics meh

I don't really get it. I've reread the comments and the news items you posted the link to and... ehm, I don't see how come it proves that stalker is junk.
Most people said the game had issues (the bugs mentioned were fixed by patches) but it was nevertheless a good game. It also got good reviews. I also hear and read praise from lots of people concerning many aspects of the game. Hell, even XXXX said it was average for him and the level design was nice 8-) And that's as high as it usually gets from him.
So, ehm, I don't quite think you're right. Personally I think the game had LOTS of flaws, but the things that were done right fully cover for those flaws. It's an awesome game for me.[/quote]
