Valve's Steam website has word that 2K Boston/Australia's acclaimed
shooter-RPG BioShock and Splash Damage's multiplayer shooter Enemy
Territory: Quake Wars are both on sale on Steam until Monday for just
$39.95, a savings of 20 percent off their regular price.
- Crysis Developer Working on New IP -
GameIndustry.biz has posted a post-release Crysis interview with art
director Michael Khaimzon as he talks about his feelings now that the game
is done, things learned from the development of Crysis, etc. He is now with
the Crytek Kiev crew in Ukraine working on a new game.
- Duke Nukem Forever in 2008? -
GameGuru.in /an Indian Gameguru clone :-)/ claims we might see more of
Duke next year, and that development has been coming along well in the past
months. Oh well. Rumors like this popped up right before Prey was announced
:-)
- Crysis Fan Site Kit v1.0 - Crytek just released the
Official Crysis Fan Site Kit v1.0 containing a large number of various
ingredients for cooking up a great fan site.
- Unreal Engine III on Wii - Epic Vice President Mark Rein has said
repeatedly that they will not port their popular Unreal Engine 3 to the Wii,
but that isn't stopping others from doing the conversion for them. In an
interview with Kikizo,
Rein has stated that an unnamed licensee is bringing the engine to
Nintendo's console.
