This
press release officially announces Mafia 2, the sequel to the 1930's open
world crime action game from developer Illusion Softworks and publisher 2K
Games. The game is being made for unnamed next-gen consoles and the PC; a
release date was not announced. Here is some info:
Like the original Mafia title, Mafia 2 immerses players in the mob underworld of a fictitious late 1940's-early 1950's scenario. Players will easily become engaged in the game's cinematic Hollywood movie experience with strong, believable characters in a living, breathing city. One of THE best games ever. I loved it from the very beginning to the last minutes of play. I hope 2nd one will be as grand as the City of Heavens.

heh, I love the first one from the start up until the race mission, then from the race mission to the end. that race was the crappiest mission ever
