| (hx) 11:20 AM CEST - Aug,20 2007 | 2K
Games has confirmed that the PC demo of Irrational's 2K Boston and
Australia's BioShock will be released for download tomorrow evening around 7pm
EST. The BioShock demo will weight 1.84GB. Of couse, I will provide
you some mirrors.
The wait is nearly over. At 7 PM EST the BioShock PC demo will go live
for you to enjoy. We will have exclusive pre-loading at Fileplanet. Set your
watches for 7 o'clock IMPORTANT: Please be sure to download the latest drivers
from ATI and Nvidia that will be available Monday for best performance with your
video cards
In a following update on the company's
Cult of
Rapture website, BioShock creative lead Ken Levine warned users away from
potentially spoiler-filled forum posts and implored users not to post spoilers
themselves:
If you're going to buy the game this week, I highly recommend
you stay away from any forums that might have spoilers until you play the game
through. Our goal in making the game was to thrill and, often, surprise you.
Please don't ruin other people's experience by revealing secrets in unmarked
threads, and if you want to enjoy the game to its fullest, stay away from any
threads that might ruin the fun for you. With a game like BioShock, it will
really make a difference.

I don't need to worry about that, i'm off for two weeks vacation from this weekend 8)
Then when i get back it's some serious Bio game time!
I'm not even going to play the demo :cya:
| darknothing | (07:39 PM CEST - Aug,20 2007 ) | i always found it funny that they always released the demo way after or right before a release so it dosnt hurt the preorders for the games.
do yourself a fav if ur pc is more then 6months old, get the demo and make sure the game works great, because with a game with this much detail should only be played at high settings.
| Badmagic | (03:44 AM CEST - Aug,21 2007 ) | | Just saw a good question on another board but could not see an answer after having a look around, does anyone know is this demo DX9, 10 or both? | |
