(hx) 10:24 AM CEST - Jul,07 2007
EA has announced the first set of wheels that will be features in the Need for Speed ProStreet. Oh yeah, I'll take the 2008 BMW M3! :-)
Need for Speed ProStreet boasts an impressive and unique car list that spans over 40 years of the automotive spectrum. Today, EA unveils the first set of vehicles to be featured in the game with the Nissan GT-R PROTO leading the pack. This will mark the first time that the Nissan GT-R PROTO, which was unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, is available in a full packaged video game. Every car in Need for Speed ProStreet is selected for a reason - it is either unique, aspirational, memorable or highly desirable. The first list of cars to be revealed in Need for Speed ProStreet is:

- Nissan GT-R PROTO
- 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
- 1995 Mazda RX-7
- 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse
- 2006 Audi S4 1986 Toyota Corolla
- GTS AE86
- 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition
- 2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI
- 2008 BMW M3

I really hope they don't mess this game up like they did with Carbon... After Most Wanted, that was a great game, they totaly fucked up with Carbon IMO.. Hope the drifts are gone as they were the worst part of Carbon.

I think it's cute that you still have some hope. Really.

Drifting in Carbon is far better than Most Wanted or below.

Personally i think Underground2 has the best gameplay because you waren't forced to buy better cars(Carbon, RX8 was Tier1, you could win vs a tier2 car but tier3 and up was not possible, AND I DON'T FUCKING WANT TO BUY YOUR DAMNED PORSCHE). Tuning in U2 was again much better than MW or Carbon.
