  • Half-Life 2 Mod Fraud - ModDB.com has an interesting feature article on Realms of Valhallon: Age of Campaigns, a fantasy based Half-Life 2 mod that was organised in mid-2005 by people who at first claimed they wanted to eventually launch the mod as a full fledged commercial game.
  • Xbox 360 Dashboard Update Screenshots - FiringSquad has posted some screenshots of what the upcoming update for the Xbox 360 dashboard will look like. Valve has to release trailers over and over again because nobody is biting.

Well, glad to hear STALKER will be out soon. God knows what it will play like now though.. Really would want to know now how long it would take to finish the game, is it a 10-12 hour game? 20hours? 30+?

Nosferatu(11:43 PM CEST - May,26 2006 )
Developers claimed it would take 30 hours to rush through the main game plot without checking out the side-quests and other territories (which they said is about 60% of all the 30x10 km zone).
Considering how well GSC handles the talking part and how long has the game been in development, I wouldn't immediately believe that though.

Amazing, they spend 9000 years making something so open ended that it takes them another 9000 to make it 'slightly' linear.
Sorry for the sarcasm, I am actually looking forward to this game though :P
