Next Call Of Duty Game Skipping PC - briefly
(hx) 03:48 PM CEST - May,05 2006
In an Activision conference call yesterday, chairman and CEO Bobby Kotick specifically noted that the next Call of Duty game, which is due to hit stores in Q4 2006, is "not a PC product, it's a console product and it's all next-gen." This is not as bad as it seems though. They stated this is likely an adaptation of a previous release, and that it is still likely that the next full game in the series (presumably Call of Duty 3) will be developed by Infinity Ward for consoles and PCs for release in 2007.

are you a dumbass, they made the move most likely because they're sales were far stronger on the console and the cost benefit of putting it out on the pc as well was at a loss for them. Its a business not a popularity contest.

Bill u r pretty right with rehashed, but you forget something. COD 1 was already very fun to play. Most didn't want the game to change that much, including me. All I wanted was fantastic graphics and better anti-cheat. We got the fantastic graphics and for anyone playing COD1 this is enough easily to move to COD2..

I personally think PB is a crock of crap and in COD2 you are right, I really doubt that PB is on.. Why is it in every game I play I see status messages about PB yet in COD2 I don't?.. I still see idiots playing with aimbots and stuff and it's really sad.

It's better than it was before the patch but the cheating has to stop in this game for it to be more successful. As for moving to console.. I can't blame em, but it would seem that COD will likely come to PC anyhow..but who's going to buy it considering the lousy support the PC is getting right now? And how much better are the gfx going to get? When is the next patch for COD2? A year?

Their support gives Valve a run for it's money in terms of LOUSY.

Hey Bill, if you want to chuck me a million considering you don't want to be rich... Appreciate it!
