Crysis PC shots - media|
| (hx) 07:18 PM CEST - Apr,19 2006 |
CryTek has released a batch of new screens from their upcoming PC game
Crysis. The screenshots all came in widescreen HD resolution so I assume the
game will fully support WS mode. I think several of the screenshots have
been used in some exclusive previews (IGN/Gamespot/1UP), but hey now you can see
them at 1280x720! :) |

Man oh man oh man... Besides the shots looking tottaly beyond evrything else including UE3, the shot #4 ensures me that this game is going to be uber freaking immersive by presenting the enviroments exactly as they were intended.
Too bad we're going to have to wait for at least 5 patches in order to have the game in playable state judging by the performace of FarCry. The original 1.0 and 1.33 version of FarCry have like solid 35% performance difference. I tested it recently while replaying the game.

| Nosferatu | (09:18 PM CEST - Apr,20 2006 ) | This is almost photo-realistic! I bow in front of Crytek guys. When I saw the GDC trailer I was in shock.
And now the screens with icy areas! Very atmospheric, a little intriguing even. I wonder how it'll play like.
| yhancik | (10:36 PM CEST - Apr,20 2006 ) | i'm afraid it will look photorealistic to us until another 3D engine will be even more realistic, and crysis will look so unatural
of course we're getting always closer to realism, but we are more and more demanding
and Bilou, i don't see how it's related to Stalker...
