Half-Life 2: Episode 1 Pre-Loads May 1 On Steam - briefly|

The
weekly Steam news update from Valve mentions that their long awaited first
chapter in their episodic first-person shooter Half-Life 2: Episode 1 will start
pre-loading on Steam beginning May 1.
Meanwhile, here at Valve, we're frantically trying to put the finishing
touches on Episode One for preloading to begin May 1st. The past couple of days
have been spent with the team adding commentary tracks. Hopefully it will be
interesting for people to gain some insight into our development processes. It's
pretty hectic around the office, but it is always a lot of fun to be so close to
shipping.

Valve doesn't deserve anything until they provide proper support to a DM community that is not only waited forever for a patch but also disappearing. As a matter of fact it's almost gone all together. HL2 is not just about CS and DOD. Valve released 3 titles under the HL2 umbrella. There is still a huge thread on Steam forums with no responses from Valve.. just some <cough> moderator..
I'll get Sin, but I aint touching another thing from Valve out of respect for a dwindling DM community. |
