The VIP mod for CS: Source - mod&map|

for Counter-Strike: Source, has been released on
Vapour and is ready
to play. There are 3 downloads available - the full server package including the
VIP Mod Plugin plus all 9 official VIP Mod Maps, the Server Plugin Only File and
the Vapour Content Delivery Software for the Client Instal. All 3 of these can
be downloaded from the
PAF Files Site. The Vapour Content Delivery System can also be downloaded
directly from:
http://www.vapour-online.com and is REQUIRED for the client download of VIP
Mod V1.0.
Old school Counter-Strike players will remember a gameplay mode called "assasination mode" that randomly changed a member of the CT team into a VIP. The VIP player was only allowed the pistol he spawned with as his weapon. But, he also spawned with 200 armor. The misson in this game play style was simple: "Protect The VIP Team!". The CT's were to escort the VIP to a rescue zone to win the round. The terrorists objective was to kill the VIP. If they did, the round ended no matter how many other CT's were alive.

So many times I offed like 8 enemy with my pistol and got in the copter or what have you.. was so funny. But then of course you got the n00b VIP who has zero skills trying to do what you did and getting killed all the time...Nice to see it came out for Source, I'll have to give it a go.. |
