SpellForce 2:
Shadow Wars, the RTS/RPG hybrid game sequel nearing completion at Phenomic
- "We're told that the single-player campaign can last between 40 and 50
hours, and that there is a separate cooperative campaign that can last another
20 to 30 hours." Another preview can be found on

- Rise of Nations- Rise of Legends shots - The official Rise of
Nations: Rise of Legends has
one new screenshot from this steampunk themed fantasy RTS game.
- GTI Racing official screens gallery - GTI Racing's developer
released a new set
of in-game screenshots (click on the gallery button). Word is: "Temporary
website will soon be replaced with a full version, where fans will be able to
download gameplay footage, more screenshots and game arts, sample of GTI
Racing's soundtrack and a lot more. GTI Racing uniquely blends a realistic and
highly detailed car physics simulation with the pure fun of driving."
- Age of Empires III update -
The Age
of Empires III website has word that
a new
version 1.04 of the RTS game is now available through the game's internal
auto-update function. The update offers the promised ESO stability fixes.
- StarCraft patches v1.13f - Blizzard has released
new
patches for StarCraft and its Brood War expansion pack, updating both to
v1.13f. The patch fixes several exploits
- Blitzkrieg expansion plans (US) - CDV announces plans to release
three Blitzkrieg
expansions (Mission Barbarossa, Mission Kursk and Green Devils) digitally
in North America that were previously only available in Europe.
- ParaWorld website updated - In the first update of the New Year,
nine additional units are presented.
- Guild Wars: Factions PvP Weekend Begins - As promised
the
free PvP weekend event for Guild Wars: Factions has now begun giving
players of the hit multiplayer fantasy action-RPG a glimpse into the upcoming
expansion pack
- PlanetSide To Go Subscription Free -
According to the forum post, "New Players will be able to create a new
account and and play for free for a period of 12 months. The new account will
have limitations on the BattleRank (+ or - BR8) and the CommandRank (+ or -
CR2). Essentially, new players will be able to have access to any part of the
game but they will be limited on the diversity of their arsenal.
- Heroes Of Might And Magic V Open Beta Delayed -
This post on the game's official message boards announces that the test
for the Nival-UbiSoft turn based strategy game has been delayed "for a short
time".
- Virtua Fighter 5 For PS3 Confirmed - According to Gaming Target,
this month's EGM magazine is confirming Virtua Fighter 5 as a Playstation
3 launch title.
- Interview With Square Enix President -
MCVUK got a
chance to list some comments made by Square president John Yamamoto
regarding the European release of Dragon Quest 8 (PS2).
- Why DVD is enough for games -

- World of Warcraft surpasses 1 million EU subscribers - Blizzard
Entertainment has announced that its phenomenally successful MMORPG,
World of Warcraft,
has now surpassed one million subscribers in Europe, topping 5.5 million
worldwide.
- Silent Hill Movie Trailer - Yahoo Movies has
the exclusive trailer for Silent Hill, showing off footage from the
upcoming horror film based on the Konami survival horror game series. It is
pretty awesome, this movie may just be the best horror movie of 2006. Check it
out!
