Gamecloud - After the release of the game are there any near-future plans for expansion packs or free official maps?

Ben Smith - With Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, we released a number of updates with new features, vehicles, weapons and full maps. There were also two expansion packs built for Battlefield 1942. We are committed to support Battlefield 2 in the same way that these titles were supported. We’ll be able to speak more in detail about these plans after Battlefield 2 hits shelves.
