• Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed Launches - If you already play the Massively Multiplayer Game Star Wars Galaxies, you're undoubtedly already aware that the Jump to Lightspeed space expansion officially launched.
• Lord Of The Rings: The Third Age Goes Gold (console) - Electronic Arts sent over a press release announcing that Lord of the Rings: The Third Age has gone gold. The console turn based fantasy RPG based on the film trilogy is scheduled to ship to stores the week of Nov. 2.
• Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death in November (US) - BAM! Entertainment and developer Rebellion announced today that the legendary Judge Dredd comic book character is coming to life in Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death. Under a distribution agreement recently signed, BAM! is scheduled to ship the first-person shooter for PS2, Xbox, GC as well as for PC in November 2004.
• GalCiv Deluxe Planned - The Strategy First website reveals plans to release Galactic Civilizations Deluxe, a repackaged version of Stardock's science fiction turn-based strategy game
• Brothers In Arms 2 In The Works - Computer and Video Games is reporting that even though the first game is not due out until early in 2005, developer Gearbox Software is already doing some preliminary work on a sequel to their upcoming WWII tactical shooter.They also have posted a brief Q&A with members of Gearbox.
