S.T.A.L.K.E.R. open beta test announced - briefly

According to this post on THQ's official site in Germany revelas plans for open beta test of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl multiplayer portion. Over 5000 gamers will get the chance to test the game's multiplayer action well before the official release in Q1 2005. There's no further info on the exact period for the beta test but more details should be announced in the coming weeks on the game's official site, including how to apply for one of the beta test spots as well as the criteria tester will be chosen by.
