  • Kohan II: Kings Of War preview - Jolt.co.uk has posted a preview of Kohan II: Kings of War, the upcoming fantasy RTS sequel game from Timegate and Gathering
  • Half-Life 2 Impressions - PC.IGN has posted an updated impressions of Half-Life 2, based on playing parts of the same E3 demo of Valve Software's shooter at last Saturday's G-Phoria event.
  • MotoGP 2: Interview - Over at Computer & Video Games, they have interviewed MotoGP 2 programmer Gavin Norman on what to expect from the Xbox and PC version.
  • Troika's post-apocalyptic screenshots at NMA - No Mutants Allowed has just released two exclusive screenshots (1 & 2) from a tech demo of Troika's post-apocalyptic cRPG. (thanks RPGCodex)
  • Children of the Nile movie - There is a new movie trailer for Children of the Nile, illustrating the upcoming Egyptian 3D city-building strategy game by Titled Mill Entertainment.
  • Star Wars Battlefront Movies - A pair of new but brief movie trailers for Star Wars Battlefront is now online to show off the sci-fi 3D multiplayer action game that nearing completion at Pandemic Studios.
  • Gold Frog v1.0 Demo - Gold Frog v. 1.0 (download demo) is a unique arcade game/simulator allowing players to observe the secret world of animals and insects from within and even become a part of it. The player must save the Gold Frog from extinction by guiding it in such a way so as to catch more insects. With an easy-to-use control system, the Gold Frog will be able to turn left and right, turn around at a jump and catch insects with its tongue. To keep the frog's life going, you have to constantly catch insects otherwise the frog will soon get an article in the Red Book.
  • Soldner patch v29354 - The SOLDNER: Secret Wars Website now offers a new version 29354 patch for JoWood's shooter. The update includes all previous changes. You only need to install update v29354. If you have any kind of mods installed, please remove them before installing the update otherwise Soldner's Anti Cheat Tool WACHE will take actions.
  • Battlecraft Vietnam editor v1.1 - As has been noted by the community, previous versions of Battlecraft Vietnam (BFV) are incompatible with the BFV 1.1 Update (124MB). There have been some changes with the way that models are exported for use in BFV, and these changes are incorporated in BFV 1.1, now ready for release. (thanks PlanetBattleField) Mirror: 3DGamers

  • Shenmue Online For PC - According to IGN, Sega is working on an online version of the RPG Shenmue, and will be releasing the game on the PC
  • DOOM 3 Ships (US) - DOOM 3 is currently available at retail outlets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $54.99 and is rated "M" (Mature) by the ESRB.
  • Tabula Rasa & Guild Wars Delayed - NCsoft announced that action/RPG Guild Wars is now due in the first half of 2005, while the MMORPG Tabula Rasa has been pushed back to the second half of 2005.
  • Desert Combat development halted - Frank DeLise made a post on the BattleField forum: "Trauma Studios has been busy working on future titles that will bring the next level of gameplay to your PC. During that time, I tried my best to find time to continue DC, but with no success. At this point, there are no
    future updates currently planned.
  • Starsiege:2845 Update - The Starsiege:2845 mod site has been redesigned and Jake "Trajan" Massie let us know that there's a load of stuff in several of the Media areas that has never been previously released for one reason or another.
  • Strategy First and Techland - end of co-operation - Techland informed us that  Strategy First is no longer the official publisher of Techland's games in North America. The information received from Techland indicates that negotiations with publishers on the U.S. and Canada territories are in progress although no final decision regarding a new partner has been made yet.
  • MTX: Mototrax on September/October 2004 - Aspyr Media, Inc. will publish MTX: Mototrax for PC and Mac. The game is currently at beta and is expected to ship late September 2004.
  • Chaos League Comic Offered for Free - Digital Jesters let us know that that more than 280,000 24-page Chaos League comics will be distributed for free to the trade and public on August 6th. (the same day when this real-time sports strategy game will be released)
