ZOTAC Replaces Faulty 4090 with Free 5090 - tech

A ZOTAC customer who sent his RTX 4090 in for warranty repair four times due to crashes, freezing, artifacts, and PCIe errors has received an unexpected upgrade.

After the fourth RMA, ZOTAC replaced the card with a brand-new RTX 5090 at no extra cost.

The replacement is a ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5090 SOLID model.

It came with only a 30-day warranty, matching the remaining period on the original card.

The customer shared the story on Reddit, and it has been widely reported by hardware sites.

ZOTAC’s decision ended a long cycle of repeated failures for the owner.
