The warez group, 'Razor1911' claims that they have cracked the DRM for Settlers 7, and that Skid Row's crack of Assassin's Creed II was just based on a system flaw.

Regardless of which group makes it and how long they have been around - the fact is that the crack still works.
Although I have had two crashes of AC2 on my Windows 7 x64 with second-latest nvidia drivers.
Not sure where the problem lies though.

The problem is not the crack or the lack of DRM. I have the retail version of AC2 and experience a lot of CTD. Has something to do with the game not being able to run properly above other applications and process. When I close almost everything I had on the background (Xfire, Steam, D3D Overrider, ATi CCC, FRAPS, avast!, etc.) it runs quite well. No CTD in many hours of gaming.
Later I found that most of the CTD were caused by Steam Community in-game and MSN.

Is totally lame that Ubisoft isnt doing anything to adress this issues... just take a look at the forums, no official answer: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=search&reqWords=ctd&use_forum_scope=on&forum_scope=4721051016

Settlers is a good game though. I will buy it when I finish the ones on my gaming queue. Hopefully it will have become cheaper by then.

I tried the Razor crack, it works.
I'll buy the game later when it gets cheaper - but only if the patch removes this stupid DRM; I want to play it on my laptop on the go (without internet connection).

I think he was saying Bye Fags as the bus takes out the car. God knows.. to go through all the effort of throwing words into a video and spelling it wrong, that in itself is a FAIL. I kept that vid to show to others it's so funny. Man that's like double FAIL!

That's true if you are using an emulator and not a crack.

No, I have Settler 7 Razor and AC 2 Skidrow and both working without problems.
