Company officials insisted the problems were "intermittent," but many consumers complained they hadn't been able to log on to their accounts for days, and an Internet performance firm said that PayPal.com was completely inacessible on Tuesday afternoon.
  • Will your phone become your credit card? - Motorola and MasterCard are at work on cell phones capable of secure financial transactions, such as banking or buying groceries with a credit card, the two companies said Tuesday.  The Motorola-MasterCard phones will have "the potential to be lifestyle-changing--in essence, your phone will become your wallet, key chain and your ID," Ron Hamma, a Motorola vice president, said in a statement.

  • Athlon 64 4000 and FX55 performance revealed - The chaps at TheInquirer have got a  nice document where they could clearly see the performance of two still unannounced AMD CPUs, the Athlon 64 4000+ and FX 55.  AMD is keen to introduce both of them in just few days.
  • MSI K8T Neo2 FIR review - MSI K8T Neo2 FIR motherboard uses the latest high performance Via K8T800 Pro chipset supporting AMD Athlon 64 socket-939 processors and is a MSI top of the line AMD Athlon 64 939-socket motherboard. The MSI K8T Neo2 FIR motherboard comes packed with everything you need: Dual-channel DDR memory, Serial-ATA 150 RAID, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel audio and more. All this but no SmartCard reader or Kitchen Sink.
  • Gateway M320XL laptop review - Gateway's M320XL laptop is a good laptop but it falls short in a few areas. First of all, this is a poor laptop for gaming. The system's 32MB of integrated video memory and XGA LCD display are simply not very impressive. During our 3dMark 2001 benchmarking, the M320XL's display could not display all of the colors some of the tests tried to use. We also did not like the recessed mouse buttons and the touch scroll wheel which was hard to use and very sporadic.
  • AMD Sempron 3100+ Overclocking - As for the gain you receive by overclocking the Sempron 3100+, we enjoyed a performance growth of about 25% by clocking our sample at 2.52GHz (40% frequency boost). Thanks to that, the overclocked Sempron 3100+ could outperform the Pentium 4 3.4GHz as well as the Athlon 64 3400+ by about 5% in average.

  • Meedio Essentials Guide For Your Home Theater PC - This guide will assist in getting Meedio Essentials up and running on your system. It will not show you how to install every plug-in available.

  • nLite 0.99.1 beta - nLite is a GUI for permanent Windows component removal by your choice. This release is ment to provide you with more stable version, there is not much "new" in it for those who didn't had any problems, but for those with Windows 2000 issues this one will be worthy. Windows 2003 issues probably are not yet solved because I still don't have a copy of them to test and correct it. There are qute a few languages added in this one.
