- Microsoft to launch Xbox 360 on Nov. 22 - Microsoft Corp. today
announced that Xbox 360 will arrive on store shelves Tuesday, 22nd November in
North America, Friday, 2nd December in Europe, and Saturday, 10th December in
Japan. The announcement, made on the eve of Tokyo Game Show 2005, marked the
first time that a game console will be launched in three territories in the
same time frame.
- Xbox 360 Bundle Pre-Order on Amazon.com Started - Amazon.com
offers four Xbox 360 Bundles
is that all 3D vendors will support the
same features, guaranteeing compatibility across the board. Although this may
sound great, allowing for a more standardised games development environment,
the reality is that Microsoft will soon be regulating the introduction of 3D
features, leaving companies such as NVIDIA and ATI at the mercy of the
software giant.
- Video Game Industry to Sue Michigan's Governor - The computer and
video game industry
will
file suit in Michigan asking that the state's new video game law be overturned,
the Entertainment Software Association.
- Hasbro VuGo Portable Video Player and DVR -
The VuGo Kids PMP and DVR unit contains 128MB of memory, enough to hold up
to 60 minutes of video, 6 hours of music or over 1,200 digital photos.
- White Sony PSP Ships Today -
The white Sony PSP will be the first special edition of the Sony PSP since
it's launch. Nintendo already swamped us with all kinds colored Nintendo DS
consoles.
- Korean Odd-i P-10 PMP with 2MP Digital Camera -
The ODD-i features a 4 inch screen with 480 x 272px resolution. The ODD-i
plays MPEG1, MPEG4 SP, XVID, Divx 3.x/4.x/5.x, WMV7/8/9, MP3, WMA, OGG and AC3
files. The portable video player measures 146x74x25mm. Other features include:
USB 2.0, FM-Tuner, Photo viewer and text viewer.
- Panasonic SD Pocket Copier - To make it extra nice, there is a wee switch
that lets you copy either the entire contents of the card, or just the photos.

- Windows Vista Games Screenshots - Kotaku has posted some
screenshots
showing the games that will come with Windows Vista. You got your
Solitare, Minesweeper and FreeCell. And it looks like they are adding a few
new games to the stable: Mah Jong (Microsoft's version apparently will be
called Shanghai Dragons), Purple Place and Windows Vista Chess. What's
interesting about the screenshots is the 3D effects, shading and animation.
Even if you don't plan on playing Quake 4 on your PC, it looks like you'll
have to splurge on a new machine to get the full effects for even the basic
stuff.
- Dogging - The New Sex Trend - Here's something for all of
you looking for a one-night tryst but don't want to venture further than the
public park. It's called "dogging," and it's
essentially having sex in a car parked in a public place with other people
watching or even joining in.
