I've always considered 3d tv another gimmick used by the big tv haute couture corps. Plasma, LCD and now 3d whatever next besides 3d is supposed to mean three dimensional, if you're watching it on a 2d screen then this is misleading.

I'm awaiting the holographic tv's now thats what i call 360 vision. Until then i'll wait and leave these brain manipulating devices for the guinea pigs.

The only thing this silly trying to revive the interest in 3D, is that technology has reached a dead end.
It's just as stupid as the shameful move from "next-gen" console toward this cowardly stupid and boring Wii gimmick, real people prefer to sit on their fat ass, drinking soda, and bashing their controllers instead of standing their like a schizophrenic wiggling some white plastic tennis racket and grinding their teeth "This stupid console doesn't care how many fly's I smash, It just picks some random move, and here I stand like a complete moron.

"The iPad Arrives: The Wait is Over "

Gotz to laugh at the early morning Apple glass church attendees waiting in line for a slab of crApple technology.

Though I am on Apple sides in kicking Adobe Flash's teeth in. Fuck off Adobe!, and jumping in bed with that spyware Google chrome shite, shows them up for how desperate they are so well.

And 3d tv is such a farce, I think most people who I'd normally see jumping on the gimmick bandwagon have some sense in at least a few things. Or perhaps there senses will be worn down by the end of this year what with all the marketing bullshit and more 3d hype coming from tech companies trying to push this shit out into the mainstream acceptance.

I'd be all for it if they actually fucking improved the lcd technology for faster response and color depth etc.. but 3d is just a gimmick of the same barely improved tech and requiring extra money to be spent on other hardware for games etc

What ever happened to OLED? I've been waiting for that for years...negligible power consumption, the most vivid colours, the most pronounced contrast ratio and the thinnest and lightest construction yet possible.

Instead we get an onslaught of horrendous TN panel screens and 3D bollocks. :P

Ozieo(07:44 AM CEST - Apr,05 2010 )
OLED technology is there, it's just that they will first dump out some other 15 LCD & plasma revisions in order to milk that cow some more before they put a bullet through it.

You can cook an egg on a new nvidia card? Man! that just made me want to have one. Now I can eat and play at the same time. Awesome! What a great read! lol

Clash of the Titans, everyone I know who saw it said it was so-so, the original was better.

PoliticalMaestro(10:43 PM CEST - Apr,05 2010 )
Those animated skeletons were so realistic in the original now with all this cgi it looses its uniqueness. Wallace and gromit have shown that these so called outdated techniques are still popular.

Yes the original will remain supreme due to its revolutionary techniques, lets return to plasticine models and frame animation.
