THQ is holding a competition (thanks Nosferatu) for participation in the beta test. Here is what they say: "It's not long to wait until S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is released, on 23rd March; but if you'd like to participate in the beta, now's your chance. Simply head on over to our competition page, and get involved! This competition is open only to myTHQ members, but it only takes a minute or so to register..."

Guys? I'm very sorry to distress you, but have you looked up the rules? Unfortunately it's for UK residents only :( I'm really mad on developers for this one. I mean GSC is from Ukraine and we don't get the chance to play the beta! Shit.

They changed this. I was told and have emails that it 'wouldn't' just be open to UK but global and limited number of testers. I even have an email they said I would definitely be a tester!!! PFFFFF! I since forwarded that e-mail and called them a bunch of liars. They've already gotten a lot of flack but then have made 'special' exceptions to certain people. Total BS. And to think I helped these bastards out when they leaked their Alpha... Pfff. Wont be doing them any favors.
