Games Magazine has posted
an
interview with Zak McClendon of Crystal Dynamics as he talks about
Project: Snowblind, their near-future sci-fi shooter. The console version
just went gold, expected to be on shelves February 23rd. According to interview,
the PC version is "in the final stages of compatibility testing and balancing."
Here's an excerpt:
Computer Games - What can you tell us about the multiplayer modes for the PC version of the game?
Zak McClendon - We've got a bunch of different multiplayer modes to keep you busy long after finishing the Single Player game. We've got your basic modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, but we've also cooked up some brand new modes to provide more complex team play and a deeper multiplayer experience. There's Tactical Assault, which pits two teams against each other in a race to control strategic points before a final assault on the opposing base, or Demolition, which has each time fighting for control over a single bomb, which must be planted on the enemy's base - and then defended during the countdown – to score a point. The current favourite around the office right now is Hunter, a mode that gives one player every ability and weapon in the game while the others try to hunt him down.
