- Europe puts off mission to land on comet -
A European space mission to land on a comet has been put off and experts
don't know when it will restart.

from the association show that at the end of 2002,
there
were 787 million GSM subscribers across 190 countries of the world - and
now it's expected that a staggering one billion subscribers will use GSM
networks at the end of 2003.
- Orange SPV MS smartphone cert security cracked - The Orange
SPV has achieved the dubious distinction of being
the
first Microsoft smartphone to have its security cracked. Orange as set the
phones up so they will only run Orange-certified applications, but as yet
hasn't got much further than promises when it comes to telling people how you
develop for it, get apps certified, get development systems and so on.
- Intel launches 2.4GHz Mobile Pentium 4 (update) -
The 2.4GHz Mobile Pentium 4 Processor-M is available Tuesday morning in
notebook machines from Gateway and Dell Computer, based on information
obtained from the companies' Web sites. Intel also added two new Ultra Low
Voltage Mobile Pentium III processors, and three varieties of Mobile Celeron
processors to its roster of products, it said in a release.
