  • Qualcomm translates USB for phones  - The San Diego-based company plans to incorporate so-called USB On-The-Go technology into the chips it sells handset manufacturers, but didn't disclose any additional details about product plans. Qualcomm licensed USB On-The-Go technology from Irvine, Calif.-based developer TransDimension. Terms of the deal were not released. The chips will be part of the newer generations of cell phones, which have vastly improved processing power in comparison with the older generations of wireless devices, Qualcomm indicated.
  • GC75 GPRS PC Card Modem - Sony Ericsson announced their new PCMCIA GPRS wireless modem, capable of delivering 57.6 Kbps. It is tri-band and works in 900/1800/1900 MHz range, which led Sony Ericsson to imply that the card will work in 160 countries, providing an always-on Internet connection.
  • Movielink = Online movie rental service - For now, Movielink's store will debut with about 200 titles, including first-run and classic films such as "A Beautiful Mind," "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Pyscho" and "Breakfast at Tiffany's." The company plans to add more films that appeal to its audiences after its initial test. Prices for films vary from $2.99 to $4.99, and are set by the individual studio. First-run films will appear on the site after they are out on home video, but before they hit pay-per-view television. The Web site is accessible only to U.S. residents who have a broadband connection with a minimum speed of 128kbps.
  • Aussies dump prozzies for GTA - The Australian censorship board has given the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the PS2 game an MA15+ rating, after some scenes involving prostitutes were removed from the game.
  • Nvidia to launch NV28M at Comdex - According to The Inquirer, NV28M, NVIDIA's new mobile chip, will be introduced at Monday 18th November at Comdex Fall 2002. As you may know, NV28 is nothing more than a Geforce 4 with AGP 8X, while NV28M will be an AGP 8X version of Geforce 4 chip made to fit in a notebook
  • InnoVISION announces Inno3D GeForce4 Ti4200 AGP 8X  - InnoVISION Multimedia announced the latest Inno3D Tornado Geforce4 Ti4200 AGP 8X based on the latest NVIDIA GeForce4 GPU with AGP 8X technology. The Inno3D Tornado GeForce4 Ti4200 8X DDR will be available for sample quantity from second week of November, 2002.

  • Alcohol Easy Build Disc - Alcohol Software has released screenshot on their forum announcing a new addition to their software. Alcohol Easy Build Disc will be added to the package and will allow simple mastering functions (like you do with Nero).   • NTFS Conversion and Theory Guide - NTFS allows file level security, as well as local security. NTFS also has other benefits such as long file name support and larger partition sizes, up to 16 Exabytes in theory, but more like 2 Terrabytes in practice. NTFS is also less prone to disk fragmentation, though it still happens.

Aussies dump prozzies for GTA tut tut them aussies forget their history m8, remember BRITAIN sent all there criminals to the "NEW FOUND LAND" to see if humans can make the long journey unfortunately a few made it there alive and now u have a continent full of criminals except the rightful owners the Aboriginals.
