- Lights still on at KPNQwest - The liquidators of bust KPNQwest
are to keep the
service running until the end of June, after striking a deal with unpaid, 'exhausted'

- U.S. nabs piracy ring - Twenty people in 14 U.S. states and a
man in Saskatoon are facing U.S. federal charges in an Internet computer software, game
and movie piracy ring dubbed Rogue Warriorz.The ring made available to
undercover investigators 8,434 computer application and utility software programs, 356
movies and 432 computer games.
- DataFort Hacking Challenge - DataFort launches the region's First `Hacking Challenge'.It
is primarily to be played online on a website exclusively developed for the challenge
.There are eight levels for the DataFort Hacking Contest. Each level has a different
problem which will test the candidates hacking capability. Passing level 8 means that the
candidate shows his strengths in hacking.
- Supercomputers to Analyze Terror Attacks - Researchers at the
Centers for Disease Control are going to use two linked supercomputers to determine what will really happen in the event of a terror attack
such as the detonation of a dirty bomb
- Unwired Unleashed - Unwired Australia subscribes to the former -
at significant cost. Of the $130 million it raised from the likes of Credit Suisse First
Boston, Bruckman Rosser Sherrill and The Invus Group, $110 million was spent on
licensing space on the 3.4Ghz spectrum. Yesterday it launched its first
trial of the technology at no cost to the people of Paddington, a cosmopolitan suburb

Sonique2 is now available for public consumption. It is being called an Alpha release
to reflect the fact that Sonique2 still has a ways to go before it will be ready for
release. Alpha builds are buggy, unsupported and unfinished :P
