Lexar Drops $592 DDR5-7200 Kit With Chinese DRAM - tech

Lexar has launched a new 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-7200 CL38 kit under its THOR RGB series.

The modules use domestically produced Chinese DRAM chips, widely reported to be from CXMT, rather than Samsung, SK hynix or Micron. Rated at 1.40V with 38-48-48-86 timings, the kit supports both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO.

It features an aluminum heatsink and RGB lighting.

The 32GB dual-channel kit is priced at 3,999 yuan (about $592) and is currently available in China.

Lexar has not yet confirmed wider international availability.

Still not much cheaper than buying official 32 GB CL36 DDR5 matched. When converted to pounds from dollars.

Very expensive and very slow - stay away.
Look for CL36 or lower. I might buy it for my grandma, but not at that price.
