PC Gamer reports that fan sites have been ordered to pull the download for Ultima IV: The classic RPG Ultima IV has been freely available to download for years, but distribution sites have suddenly started getting cease and desist letters from EA. Sites hosting downloads and flash versions of Ultima IV have been forced to pull the game, starting rumours that EA may be planning a new entry in the Ultima series.

EA are marketing geniuses. How do you get people who love your ancient games to buy your new versions of that same game? ASS FUCK THEM, THAT'S HOW. Idiots. I mean really, what could someone possibly be thinking that this is a good idea? Fucking morons.

They don't have to care about "old school" fans of the series. (Or at least they think that.) Look at the sales figures of the old Ultima games, and then at the sales figures of the average new RPG game on all systems combined. Small fish.
