  • Nintendo to slash GameCube price again -  Nintendo is expected to cut the price of its GameCube yet again this year.
    Facing stiff competition in the games console arena from Sony's PlayStation2 and Microsoft's Xbox, Nintendo recently cut the US price of its GameCube console by a third to $149, leaving both its competitors still standing at $199.
  • Intel slashes Pentium 4 prices - According to the company's latest price list, a 2.4GHz version of the chip has dropped from $562 to $400, while the 2.26GHz and 2.2GHz versions have been cut from $423 to $241. The biggest reduction came in notebook chips where a 1.8GHz mobile Pentium 4 fell from $637 to $348 and the 1.7GHz version dropped from $508 to $241. The 1.6GHz version was cut from $401 to $198. Wow, seems we finally can buy new CPU for DOOM III :)
  • Kimble 'hacker' fined 100,000 - Self-proclaimed uber hacker Kim 'Kimble' Schmitz was yesterday convicted of insider trading and sentenced to 20 months probation and a €100,000 fine.  Schmitz, who was arrested by authorities while on the run in Thailand in January, had been deported to Germany to face the music over stock manipulation charges. The 28 year-old 'convicted hacker' was found guilty of insider trading of LetsBuyIt.com shares, a ruse designed to net him €1.1m.

this is going to be some sort of sci-fi horror film where scientists mess with nature and their creature kills the scientists and everyone on the planet. Maybe thats not going to happen, but scientists arent stopping with all this creating modified creatures or resurrecting them.
