Dispatch is an episodic superhero workplace comedy adventure game released in 2025, developed by AdHoc Studio, a team comprising former Telltale Games members. The player assumes the role of Robert Robertson III, formerly the superhero Mecha Man, who now works as a dispatcher managing a dysfunctional team of reformed villains-turned-heroes. The gameplay involves making strategic and narrative choices, managing heroes on a city map to respond to emergencies based on their stats and traits, and engaging in dialogue-driven storylines that affect relationships and outcomes. Dispatch combines a TV show-like narrative with puzzle and management gameplay, with a sharp script, star-studded voice cast including Aaron Paul, and a meaningful choice system. It has received positive reviews for its writing, gameplay, and episodic structure, available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.

The game is weird at first, but it's great. I found choices don't really effect the story in the long term - in the end, it will all come down to the same thing, no surprises. Bad decisions can make things harder though. The minigames are really stupid and don't belong in the game, they should be skippable. Highly recommended, regardless.
