Check out this first gameplay reveal from Defect, a new game developed in Unreal Engine 5 by a new studio with Call of Duty, Quake and Doom developers. It also features music by Mick Gordon (composer for Doom). The studio is being funded by NCSoft and other smaller investors. This work in progress footage provided by emptyvessel has been edited by us. This upcoming co-op multiplayer PvPvE is a futuristic cyberpunk squad-based first person shooter set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic world that will remind you of Judge Dredd, Robocop, Cyberpunk 2077, Blade Runner, Ready or Not and Rainbow Six Siege! DEFECT will be available for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. A release date has yet to be announced.
