Gamecloud - What other aspect will make this new Combat Mission unique? Steve Grammont - The most obvious difference between CMx1 and CMx2 is the 1:1 representation of Soldiers. If your Rifle Squad has 9 men in it, you will see all 9 men move, shoot, reload, etc. Command and control simulation is very detailed and critical to maintain. Urban warfare will play an important part in CM:SF and therefore we've spent a lot of time making a rich environment to play in, including many story buildings and other neat stuff. There are some other game options that are even more fundamental than this, but we'll leave that for another interview :-) When comparing CMx2 to other games out there, there is really no comparison since none deal with CM's scope of combat (up to battalion size) in 3D, not to mention none have the level of detail and realism. Just because a game has a nicely textured model that looks similar to CMx2's doesn't mean that there is any similarity between in the coding behind the graphics. Since it is the code that makes the simulation, not the graphics, it must be remembered that sometimes
