IGNPC: Now let's talk a bit about multiplayer. We've heard about new maps, models, and modes. Tell us about the new modes you have planned. Adrian Chmielarz: Due to overwhelming demand (and little pushes from the modding crowd) we will be adding CTF. And of course, we wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't mutate it a little. We find original CTF kind of repetitive. People who want to play it that way, of course will be able to - but those who want even more action will be able to turn on some options to spice things up! IGNPC: How many MP maps do you plan to have in the box? And will players who don't have the expansion be able to play against those who do? Adrian Chmielarz: We always preferred quality to quantity. Don't expect many maps from PCF. We work on each map for many weeks, until we're really happy with it, so we're just "mentally unable" to flood the game with dozens of so-so maps. However, we will be releasing a map toolkit soon, and people can go crazy and make as many PK maps as they want to. Definitely expect some good stuff though from our mapping team for the final version. And no, people without the expansion obviously won't be able to play the same maps/modes as the people who do. We will try to keep code updates in-synch as we continue to support the base PC product. Actually we have released a couple of cool maps in recent months that people are enjoying.
