NVIDIA has just released a new hotfix driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 537.09 fixes DirectStorage performance fluctuation issues in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Alongside this fix, the NVIDIA hotfix driver 537.09 features all the tweaks, fixes and improvements of the WHQL 536.99 driver. Thus, we highly recommend downloading it, especially if you’re currently playing Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s also worth noting that this driver brings some stability improvements to Dead Space and Battlefield 2042. It also improves the cut-scenes and videos in CONTROL.

AMD has expanded its family of Ryzen 7000 Series processors with the Ryzen 5 7500F, a new Zen 4 CPU that features the same amount of cores and threads as the Ryzen 5 7600/7600X (6C/12T) but without the added benefit of an iGPU. According to benchmarks shared by publications that include Quasar Zone, users can expect a level of 1080p gaming performance that comes pretty close to the Ryzen 5 7600/7600X, delivering better numbers than Intel’s Core i5-13500 and more despite its lower, $179 price. AMD’s listing can confirm that this CPU will be available globally, contrary to previous reports that indicated it would be exclusive to China.

Dell currently has a sale on its Alienware R15 pre-built gaming PCs, so we decided to take another look. This is using the company's updated and refreshed design, but as far as refreshes go, the changes are relatively focused: It's all about the cooling. We were originally going to look at this when it launched, but killed the content at the last minute because we had already looked at a lot of expensive pre-builts and wanted Alienware to drop its price more first. That's now happened, and at the time of writing, filming, and publishing this, the system is $4430. That's an expensive pre-built, a lot of the cost being baked-in to the RTX 4090 and i9-13900K. Unfortunately, the 13900K ends up performing more like a 13700K, and Dell mostly bolted-on after thoughts to its old chassis design. Our next pre-built review will look at something more affordable, but for now, let's look at what Alienware tried to fix with its current R15 model (as of July 2023) and what it can do better.

NVIDIA today released the GeForce 536.67 Game Ready drivers. The drivers introduce support for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB graphics card that's being launched today. The drivers also add optimization for "Portal: Prelude RTX" Among the couple of issues fixed with this release are a bug with GeForce Experience Freestyle filters that were causing games to crash; and increased DPC latency observed in Latencymon for RTX 30-series "Ampere" GPUs.

This Upgraded GTX 980 Has 8GB VRAM - tech

All GTX 980 graphics cards have 4GB VRAM no matter the model, so I was a little confused when I found this 8GB card on eBay. My first thought was that it could be an engineering sample but after asking the seller and Nvidia themselves, it turns out that this is a custom and unique one-off GPU. In the end, why not, here was a company at Computex this year selling custom RTX 3070 16GB.
