3060Ti is what I have, seems the A700 gets pretty close.
Power consumption seems to be the same, too.
Does it run old games? (DirectX3, DirectX6, DirectX9?)
Heat and noise?
I am happy to see Nvidia falling to the end of the performance list slowly - as it should (been falling out of graces of gamers lately, too). Let them be that data center provider they want to be. |

What makes you think 3060 runs all the things you've mentioned?!
Anyway I don't think people play those, besides, phone can emulate those with ease.
I am sure some games will have trouble with Arc since drivers are still young and I doubt that directX6 games are top priority for Intel
Support for "everything" comes over decades, not months/years... |

Let's put is this way. Can you run Starcraft and Brood Wars?
Old games, but still played. |

I think that link is for SC2, not the original SC, isn't it? |

I could not find anything about SC (1) on the net in the short amount of time I was willing to spend searching for it. Besides, it would still run via the wrapper. Windows10 itself runs on dx10, even dx9 is ran via wrapper no mater what.
Besides, have you tried it on your card? How do you know your card can run it?
Setting standards for others is fine, if you can meet them yourself. |

Good point.
I asked because it's somewhere in the closet and I don't feel like digging it up.
Eventually I will, but not for answer just this one question; I thought someone would know. |

I did search for the answer, since I too am curious, but all that came up was trash and SC II.
You could DL it from unofficial sites, brood war worked fine for me back when I had an AGP slot GPU Hell, might try it myself tomorrow. |

I'm glad to see Nvidia gradually dropping to the bottom of the performance list, as it should (and also as it's been losing favor with gamers recently). Permit them to operate as the data center provider that they desire. |

DX10 is used by Windows 10; even DX9 is always run through a wrapper. You might download it from unapproved websites; I found that Brood War was effective. I was prepared to invest the time to look for it. |
